MoringaConnect is an MIT-Harvard spinout headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts with its operations in Ghana. Our work has been featured in Good Morning America, Forbes, The Guardian, UpWorthy, and the Harvard Business Review. Our vision is to create a world powered by the moringa tree- a crop known locally as ‘the miracle tree’ for its nutritional, medicinal, and economic value. Starting in Ghana, we use our vertically integrated supply chain to turn moringa leaves into nutritious beverages and snacks under our Minga Foods brand and moringa oil seeds into clean beauty products under our award-winning True Moringa brand. Since 2013, we have created 90 jobs along the value chain for women and youth, provided more than $500K in income to moringa farmers, built a network of 3,500 farmers, and planted over one million trees.


MoringaConnect seeks a Part-Time Creative Content Creator to create captivating content in Ghana for our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube). The content must be aligned with our target customers and support the rebrand of our Minga Foods tea and snack product lines to drive sales in Ghana.

Role Details

  • Role: Creative Content Creator
  • Commitment: Part-time
  • Duration: 3 months (Successful candidate will transition to full-time permanent role)
  • Compensation: fixed price per content type that meets defined standards
  • Perks: Quarterly performance based bonus
  • All-expense-paid work related activities (travel, transportation, etc)


Content Creation

  • Create at least 30 pieces of photo and video content each month with copy. Content includes but is not limited to:
    • Recipe blogs
    • High resolution photos of farmers, food, stylized motivational quotes
    • Customer testimonials
    • Behind the scenes
    • bi-weekly recipe and/or lifestyle videos
  • Co-create content with relevant influencers (i.e. nutritionists, fitness professionals, mommy bloggers)
  • Plan, write, and dispatch email, whatsapp, and SMS marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate and schedule at least 30 pieces of content across Instagram, IG TV, Facebook, and Youtube using Planoly or comparable planning tool
  • Create printed material to supplement online marketing/strategy


  • Set weekly goals and meticulously track progress to meet KPIs
  • Work alongside sales team to ensure conversions from marketing meet sales targets
  • Attend events company is involved in and events of interest to our target customers
  • Perform other duties related to this role as needed by the company


  • Excellent video and photography skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Experience creating content in the natural food and beverage space
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and marketing approaches
  • Deep understanding of the food and beverage industry and competitor landscape
